Scots businesswoman and model Michelle Mone, Diana Vickers, supermodel Jade Parfitt, Paolo Nutini, pop star Gabriella Cilmi and male model David Gandy were among those who walked the Tartan carpet to pay tribute to the stars of the country’s fashion industry.
Hair stylist Malcolm Edwards was honoured for his work as he was inducted into the 2010 Hall of Fame.
Mr Edwards is in demand at catwalk shows and has created looks for fashion houses including Prada and Burberry Prorsum.
The Ayrshire-born hair stylist, who started his career in Glasgow, is described in the fashion bible Vogue as a “trendsetting hairstylist” and “a familiar face backstage”.
Jonathan Saunders picked up the Designer of the Year award, while Holly Fulton scooped the prize for Young Designer of the Year.
Nutini was given a special Style Icon of the Year award, while Lisa Omand walked away as the country’s top model.
The winners were chosen by a panel of judges including Vogue.com editor Dolly Jones, Grazia magazine’s style director Paula Reed and Brian Duffy, President of Ralph Lauren Europe, who hails from Glasgow.
Mr Duffy said: “I am thoroughly impressed at the calibre of this year’s nominees, from the textile brands to designers and up and coming talent.
“The Scottish Fashion Awards provide an important and now international platform for nurturing creative and innovative fashion talents from Scotland.”
